Comparing rough cut to final cut: Front Cover

The first image is my rough cut and the second is my final cut. As you can see it has been changed a fair bit. I took in my target audience and teachers feedback and used to perfect my final cut.
The Image
My teachers and target audience both did not agree with the main image of my artist, this is because on the rough cut the position of her arms and body perceive her to be shy and not confident or outgoing, but these are things i wanted to percieve her as. I believe the image in my final cut makes her look more confident and quite the rebel.
The Plugs
In the rough cut i have not used the full page, which makes the page look bare and boring. When i changed the front cover image it meant that i was able to fill the page space more, which i believe makes my front cover look full of exciting detail and professional. The structure of the plugs are all over on the rough cut whereas on the final cut they look organised and neat, they are structured much better. I have also made the plugs more clearer to see, making sure the colours are used correctly.
